Created by Peter Kendall Clark at the start of the pandemic shut-down, SONGS FROM THE LEDGE grew organically from neighbors gathering to applaud the Front Line Workers at 7:00. Beginning on May 1st, Peter stood on the front wall of 145 Hicks Street for 100 consecutive nights singing to his (socially distanced) neighbors. Performer friends from Opera and Broadway also joined him on The Ledge, turning it into what is now the weekly extravaganza of song that fans and the media know as SONGS FROM THE LEDGE. Birthdays from age 2 to 90 have been celebrated, holidays have been honored, and life has gone on during the Pandemic.
